ano ba'ng latest?

01. I must confess. I fell in-love with Wongkar Wai’s Chungking Express. Super asteg swear. If you haven’t watched it, it’s just about this two (good-looking) men who are dumped by their girlfriends. However, the screenplay is not the typical mushy-tragic-or-fairytale-like-love-story. The dialogue has this taste of poetry and the lines are just that profound and ambiguous which makes it even more dramatic and…romantic. Not that all, it also inspired me to make my own poetic-type of film (someday or pwedeng sa thesis ko rin).

02. I discovered this splendid (ok hindi naman sa nageexaj ako) shop in Teacher’s Village in Q.C earlier this afternoon – the Yesteryears. Well, Yesteryears is a shop owned by Mr. Nestor Vera Cruz which carries the most extensive collection of musical cds here in the Philippines. His collection ranges from the songs of the early 1900’s including those kundiman and vaudeville songs. This is a place where the foreign legends as well as the local prodigies blend with each other. Certainly, this is a place to draw back those almost-forgotten (and maybe never known at all) history of ours (as Pinoy and as mere humans).

03. My baby brother DJ (at the age of 2) is currently improving his artistic skills (well..mana sa ate.haha). Mama bought him a new set of pre-elem crayons (those super huge ones remember?) as well as two drawing pads. Furthermore, his teacher-slash-therapist also asked him to practice playing with his puzzle toys at home for she said that this would help him develop his motor skills. By the way, my brother is a special kid. A terribly good-looking and smart special kid.

04. My latest addiction (besides internet and blogging) is tentenenen…Gonuts Donuts! Hahaha! Syempre pa basta fudams go ako! At syempre pa basta sweets go ako!

05. Guess what? I bought a Filipino-Filipino dictionary last Wednesday. To tell you, it has always been my dream to buy one (as in swear). Since I have just decided to take poetry seriously, I as well settled on buying my own type of dictionary. That would really be a huge help for me given that I am much more in-love with Tagalog poetry.

Good for you to take up poetry, and extensively studying the Filipino language. From what i already read, you got a lot of potential
Mabuhay ka!

Question
San yung Yesteryears and kung may binebenta rin ba silang plaka and t-shirts? Or puro CD's lang?
